Variability and Repeatability of Quantitative, Fourier-Domain Optical Coherence Tomography Doppler Blood Flow in Young and Elderly Healthy Subjects [Retina]
Conclusions. Doppler FD-OCT gave consistent and repeatable blood flow measurements within retinal venules in normal subjects. Considering the individual variation in blood flow measurements, confidence limits for retinal hemodynamics need to be determined on an individual basis. (Source: Investigative Ophthalmology)

Factors Affecting Plastic Lamina Cribrosa Displacement in Glaucoma Patients [Glaucoma]
Conclusions. The anterior LC surface is more deeply located in glaucoma patients compared with healthy controls. In glaucoma patients, age, initial IOP, and RNFL thickness were influential factors related to LC depth. These factors should be considered in clinical application of plastic LC displacement in glaucoma patients. (Source: Investigative Ophthalmology)

Expression of Insulin-Like Growth Factor 2 Receptor in Corneal Keratocytes During Differentiation and in Response to Wound Healing [Cornea]
Conclusions. The IGF2R protein expression is increased during corneal wound healing and IGF2R regulates human corneal fibroblast to myofibroblast differentiation. (Source: Investigative Ophthalmology)

Peripapillary Rat Sclera Investigated In Vivo With Polarization-Sensitive Optical Coherence Tomography [Multidisciplinary Ophthalmic Imaging]
Conclusions. Polarization-sensitive OCT enables quantitative imaging of tissue polarization properties in addition to conventional OCT imaging based on reflectivity. In the rat sclera, in vivo PS-OCT provides access to volumetric mapping of birefringence. Scleral birefringence is associated with microstructural tissue organization. Therefore, PS-OCT should prove a valuable tool for the in vivo investigation of peripapillary sclera in glaucoma. (Source: Investigative Ophthalmology)

Clustering Visual Field Test Points Based on Rates of Progression to Improve the Prediction of Future Damage [Glaucoma]
Conclusions. Predictions of VF progression can be improved by dividing the VF into small regions based on clusters of test points with similar progression rates. (Source: Investigative Ophthalmology)
