Effects of endogenous and exogenous D1/D5 dopamine receptor activation on LTP in ventral and dorsal CA1 hippocampal synapses
This article is protected by copyright. All rights reserved. Graphical Abstract Text Using recordings of fEPSP from the CA1 field of slices from the dorsal and the ventral rat hippocampus, the authors show that activation of D1/D5 dopamine receptors by endogenous dopamine contributes to LTP in both hippocampal segments similarly. Yet, activation of D1 receptors by the exogenous agonist SKF 82958 facilitates LTP in VH only. Furthermore, the expression of D1 receptor mRNA and protein was considerably higher in VH compared with DH. (Source: Synapse)

Head ‐to‐head Comparison of 18F‐FP‐CIT and 123I‐FP‐CIT for Dopamine Transporter Imaging in Patients with Parkinson's Disease: A Preliminary Study
This article is protected by copyright. All rights reserved. The Specific binding ratio measured on 18F‐FP‐CIT PET and 123I‐FP‐CIT SPECT presented a significant positive linear correlation with each other.. However, the mean SBRs on 18F‐FP‐CIT PET were significantly higher than those on 123I‐FP‐CIT SPECT. The visual diagnostic performance for PD between 18F‐FP‐CIT PET and 123IFP‐CIT SPECT scans was not significantly different. (Source: Synapse)
