Role of Holmium laser enucleation of the prostate to increase cancer detection rate in patients with gray-zone PSA level.
CONCLUSIONS: HoLEP is a viable modality for detecting prostate cancer in selected cases. PSA density was an independent predictor of prostate cancer detected by HoLEP in gray-zone PSA.

Subcapsular renal hematoma after retrograde ureterorenoscopic lithotripsy: our experience.
CONCLUSIONS: Subcapsular renal hematoma represents a rare but potentially serious complication after ureterorenoscopic lithotripsy. Its real incidence and aetiology still need to be clarified. The elevated intrarenal pressures play an important role. Persistent hematuria, flank pain and haemoglobin drop should guide prompt investigation to reach an early diagnosis. In most cases a conservative management is sufficient.

Extraperitoneal robot-assisted radical prostatectomy: a high-volume surgical center experience.
CONCLUSIONS: eRARP is a safe, reproducible, and effective procedure for the surgical treatment of prostate cancer. Superior functional outcome can be achieved when a bilateral intrafascial nerve-sparing approach can be performed.

Immune check point inhibitors for metastatic urothelial carcinoma: current evidence-based approach for urology daily practice.
CONCLUSIONS: Pembrolizumab has to be recommended in second-line therapy due to reporting in a phase III trial and OS survival benefit compared to chemotherapy control group. In cisplatin-eligible and treatment-naïve patients with visceral or liver metastases data also slightly favors pembrolizumab rather than atezolizumab.

Long-term outcomes of high grade T1 bladder cancer treated with intravesical Bacille Calmette-Guerin therapy: a single-institutional experience.
CONCLUSIONS: Intravesical BCG appears to be an effective treatment for HG pT1 BC. Caution should be used in patients aged ≥70 years, with multiple tumors or experiencing early recurrence.

Entry techniques in laparoscopic radical and partial nephrectomy: a multicenter international survey of contemporary practices.
CONCLUSIONS: A standard port configuration has not been previously reported in urological literature. Our study suggests that the transperitoneal approach, the Hasson technique and a specific triangulation of optics and operating trocars have a significant concordance in some high volume laparoscopic urologic centers.

Ureteral duplication is rarely seen that could be diagnosed during radiological imaging. Herein, we present 5 patients with ureteral duplication who underwent robotic radical cystectomy with intracorporeal urinary diversion for bladder cancer. Preoperative computerized tomography did not show presence of a ureteral duplication in any patient and all were identified intraoperatively. Establishment of a model to predict the prognosis of pregnancy related acute kidney injury.
CONCLUSIONS: The logistic regression model fitting effect was good, its accuracy of predicting renal injury prognosis was high. SCr, KIM-1, and ET-1 can be used for PR-AKI screening and are important for monitoring the disease condition of patients, intervention, and evaluation of prognosis.

Robotic versus open pyeloplasty in pediatric patients: a single center experience in Saudi Arabia.
CONCLUSIONS: RALP is safe and feasible and has a promising potential in pediatric urology. The rapid and favorable evolution in the studied indicators shows encouraging results as the indications for RALP are expanded and the length of hospital stay shortened.

Obesity and kidney stone disease: a systematic review.
CONCLUSIONS: Obesity related nephrolithiasis seems to necessitate weight loss as primary treatment, but the recognition of the associated complications is necessary to prevent induction of new and equally severe medical problems. The optimal approach to obesity control that minimizes stone risk needs to be determined in order to manage obesity-induced renal stones disease.

Emergency extracorporeal shockwave lithotripsy (eSWL) as opposed to delayed SWL (dSWL) for the treatment of acute renal colic due to obstructive ureteral stone: a prospective randomized trial.
CONCLUSIONS: eSWL is a safe procedure and delivers high SFR even within 24 hours especially for <10mm stones. It is able to reduce the number of auxiliary procedures and hospitalization.

Collagenase clostridium histolyticum: a novel medical treatment for Peyronie's disease.
CONCLUSIONS: CCH is the gold standard non-surgical option in the management of PD. The safety and efficacy of CCH has been demonstrated in large well-designed clinical trials. The new modified protocol, developed by our group, reduces the cost and inconvenience to patients whilst maintaining the efficacy. This will allow more men to benefit and will reduce the number of men undergoing surgical correction for their PD.

Percutaneous nephrolithotomy in solitary kidneys: effective, safe and improves renal functions.
CONCLUSIONS: PCNL in solitary kidney is a safe method with acceptable complication rates. Renal functions are preserved in patients with normal functioning kidney and improves in patients with renal insufficiency. RIRS may be an alternative method in selected patients with solitary kidney.

Assessment of the relationship between renal volume and renal function after minimally-invasive partial nephrectomy: the role of computed tomography and nuclear renal scan.
CONCLUSIONS: The use of the semiautomated method for the 3D segmentation of the kidney to get the volumetric assessment could be a valid tool to support the future use of CT-scan as the tool to pair the oncological and the functional follow-up after PN.
