Characterization of certain families of modular multiplicative divisor graphs
Publication date: March 2017 Source:Journal of Taibah University for Science, Volume 11, Issue 2 Author(s): R. Revathi, S. Ganesh A modular multiplicative divisor (MMD) labelling of a graph G with p vertices and q edges is a bijection f from the set of all vertices to the set of positive integers {1, 2,…, p} such that the sum of all edge labels f*(uv)= f(u)f(v)(modp); uv ∈ E(G) is a multiple of p. In this paper, we characterize certain classes of MMD graphs. This result is a solution to the open problem posed by G. Sethuraman in AKCE International Journal of Graphs and Combinatorics, No. 1 (2009) 229–236. In addi...

The algebra A(E)
Publication date: March 2017 Source:Journal of Taibah University for Science, Volume 11, Issue 2 Author(s): Ramadan Sabra Given a locally convex algebra E, we shall construct a vector space A(E) on which multiplication is defined on it. We will show the multiplication so defined on A(E) is associative and that there is a natural embedding of the sets E and its dual space E* in to the vector space A(E). This embedding allows to carryover the operations (linear and bilinear) defined on E and E* to the algebra A(E). Finally we discussed and derive some results about A(E) when E = S(R), the space of functions of rapid decay...

An analytical method for solving exact solutions of a nonlinear evolution equation describing the dynamics of ionic currents along microtubules
Publication date: Available online 31 January 2017 Source:Journal of Taibah University for Science Author(s): Md. Nur Alam, Md. Mahbub Alam In this article, a variety of solitary wave solutions are found for microtubules as nonlinear RLC transmission lines. We tackle to find exact solutions of NLEE involving parameters of a special interest in nanobiosciences and biophysics which describe a model of microtubules as nonlinear RLC transmission lines. We find solutions such as hyperbolic, trigonometric, rational and exponential function solutions and also obtain soliton-like pulse solutions in the above equation. A compar...

Defect Diffusion Assisted Formation of Cesium Metal Clusters in Cesium Halide Thin Films
Publication date: Available online 16 January 2017 Source:Journal of Taibah University for Science Author(s): Kuldeep Kumar, P. Arun This manuscript describes the evolution of grain structures in Cesium Halide films which leads to Localized Surface Plasmon Resonance (LSPR) peaks in UV-visible absorption spectra. Thin films of Cesium Halide age with time as grain boundaries recede making grains spherical in shape in order to minimize the free surface energy of the system. The process is also assisted by the presence of point defects/color centers in Cesium Halide films. The defects migrate outwards towards the grain sur...
