Some results about ideals satisfying the condition Cn
Publication date: Available online 11 November 2015 Source:Journal of Taibah University for Science Author(s): Wahiba Messirdi, Charef Beddani We introduce, in this paper, a condition C n that can be viewed as a generalization of the conditions C 2 investigated recently by the present authors in [1–4]. We use this condition to give some results in the study of linear equivalence of ideal topologies and valuation ideals. Moreover, we present the notion of C n -maximal ideals, and we show that every ideal satisfying the condition C n is contained in a C n -maximal ideal. Characterization of some families of modular multiplicative divisor graphs
Publication date: Available online 6 November 2015 Source:Journal of Taibah University for Science Author(s): R. Revathi, S. Ganesh Modular multiplicative divisor (MMD) labeling of the graph G with p vertices and q edges is a bijection f from the set of all vertices to the set of positive integers {1,2,…,p} such that sum of all edge labels f*(uv) = f(u)f(v)(modp); uv ∈ E(G) is a multiple of p. In this paper we characterize certain classes of MMD graphs. This result answers the open problem raised by G. Sethuraman in AKCE International Journal of Graphs and Combinatorics, No.1 (2009) 229-236. Also we discuss th...

The inhibitory activity of aldose reductase of flavonoids compounds. Combining DFT and QSAR calculations
This study shows that the MLR and MNLR have served to predict activity, but when compared with the results given by the ANN model, we concluded that the predictions achieved by this latter is more effective and much better than other models. The statistical results indicate that the ANN model is statistically significant and shows very good stability towards data variation in the validation method. The contribution of each descriptor to the structure-activity relationship is evaluated (Source: Journal of Taibah University for Science)

Effects of aspartame on the evaluation of electrophysiological responses in Wistar albino rats
In this study, the folate-deficient animal model was used to mimic human methanol metabolism in rats. After 90 days of aspartame treatment, a significant alteration was observable in the time domain [Mean RR (ms) SDNN (ms) RMSSD (ms) PNN50 (%)] and the frequency domain [LF, HF, and LF/HF ratio] with significantly impaired frequency and amplitude of the fronto-parietal and occipital EEG waves at p ≤ 0.05. The results of this study clearly indicate that the oral consumption of aspartame reduced HRV, with sympathetic dominance and loss of vagal tone, and altered sympathovagal activity along with impairment of learning and m...
