PET‐avid hepatocellular adenomas: incidental findings associated with HNF1‐α mutated lesions
ConclusionHepatocellular adenomas, specifically the HNF1‐α subtype, can cause false‐positive PET findings when seeking to identify malignancy. Concomitantly, PET‐CT may have the potential to identify the HCA histopathological variant with the lowest malignant and haemorrhagic potential. A systematic review of contralateral liver lobe hypertrophy after unilobar selective internal radiation therapy with Y90
ConclusionUnilobar Y90 SIRT results in significant hypertrophy of the contralateral liver lobe. The rate of hypertrophy seems to be slower than that achieved by other methods. (Source: HPB: official journal of the International Hepato Pancreat Biliary Association)

Efficacy of radiofrequency ablation compared with transarterial chemoembolization for the treatment of recurrent hepatocellular carcinoma: a comparative survival analysis
ConclusionsRFA and TACE may be equally effective for intrahepatic recurrence after hepatectomy when the tumour size is ≤ 5 cm and ≤ 3 lesions when re‐resection or salvage transplantation is not considered feasible. A wait‐and‐see strategy with subsequent self‐expanding metal stent on demand is superior to prophylactic bypass surgery for unresectable periampullary cancer
ConclusionPatients with unresectable periampullary malignancies can safely be managed with endoscopic drainage on demand and with a lower morbidity and a shorter hospital stay than with a surgical prophylactic bypass.
