Prognostic value of left atrial function in systemic light-chain amyloidosis: a cardiac magnetic resonance study
Conclusion
In patients with systemic AL, LAEF as assessed by CMR is associated with NYHA functional class, MC stage, myocardial LGE and 2-year mortality. (Source: European Journal of Echocardiography)

Multicentre multi-device hybrid imaging study of coronary artery disease: results from the EValuation of INtegrated Cardiac Imaging for the Detection and Characterization of Ischaemic Heart Disease (EVINCI) hybrid imaging population
Conclusion
In patients at intermediate risk of CAD, hybrid imaging allows non-invasive co-localization of myocardial perfusion defects and subtending coronary arteries, impacting clinical decision-making in almost one every five subjects. (Source: European Journal of Echocardiography)

Prosthetic pulmonary valve and pulmonary conduit endocarditis: clinical, microbiological and echocardiographic features in adults
Conclusion
PPV/RVPAC IE is associated with significant morbidity, mortality and high risk of requiring operative intervention. TTE and TEE are marginal diagnostic tools when used independently; they should be used as complementary techniques in the evaluation of those patients. Severe PPV/RVPAC stenosis was more common than regurgitation in patients with IE; thus IE should be considered in patients presenting with new PPV/RVPAC obstruction. Non-volumetric echocardiographic indices and qualitative assessment of right ventricular systolic function in Ebstein's anomaly: comparison with CMR-derived ejection fraction in 49 patients
Conclusion
Overall echocardiographic parameters of RV function correlate poorly with CMR-derived EF in patients with EA. Only 2D global longitudinal RV strain correlated weakly with CMR-derived RVEF. However, the sensitivity and specificity for detecting RV dysfunction using 2D strain imaging were comparable with qualitative RV functional assessment. (Source: European Journal of Echocardiography)

Relationship between mitral annulus function and mitral regurgitation severity and left atrial remodelling in patients with primary mitral regurgitation
Conclusion
In patients with OMR, MA reduced function correlates with the MR severity and the LA size and function, but not with the LV function. (Source: European Journal of Echocardiography)

Reproducibility of functional aortic analysis using magnetic resonance imaging: the MESA
Conclusion
Inter-study reproducibility of all aortic variables was acceptable. Intra- and inter-observer reproducibility of all aortic variables was excellent. MRI can provide a repeatable method of measuring aortic structural and functional parameters. (Source: European Journal of Echocardiography)

Three-dimensional whole-heart vs. two-dimensional high-resolution perfusion-CMR: a pilot study comparing myocardial ischaemic burden
Conclusion
There is strong correlation and broad agreement between estimates of MIB from both techniques. However, the 95% limits of agreement are relatively wide and therefore a larger comparative study is needed before they can be considered interchangeable—particularly around the clinically relevant 10% threshold.
