Comparing ultraviolet light A photo(chemo)therapy with Methotrexate protocol in childhood localized scleroderma: Evidence from systematic review and meta-analysis approach
Localized scleroderma is a skin fibrosing disorder that, if untreated, may result in severe disability. The purpose of this systematic review is to compare the present evidence concerning the effectiveness of Methotrexate versus phototherapy, alone or associated with Psoralen, in childhood localized scleroderma. Efficacy of curcumin and Boswellia for knee osteoarthritis: Systematic review and meta-analysis
The unfavorable safety profiles of commonly prescribed knee osteoarthritis (OA) treatments have led clinicians and patients to seek safer alternatives. Research has suggested that curcuminoid and boswellia formulations could moderate key inflammatory pathways that are associated with worsening symptoms and disease progression. We conducted a systematic review and meta-analysis to assess the efficacy and safety of these treatments vs. placebo or NSAIDs for knee OA. (Source: Seminars in Arthritis and Rheumatism)

Phenotypic characterization of patients with rheumatologic manifestations of common variable immunodeficiency
Patients with common variable immunodeficiency (CVID) have a higher incidence of rheumatologic disorders. To delineate this clinical association, we investigated the phenotypic features of patients with CVID affected by these conditions. (Source: Seminars in Arthritis and Rheumatism)
