Prevalence and incidence of psoriatic arthritis: A systematic review and meta-analysis
Psoriatic arthritis (PsA) is a specific form of inflammatory arthritis associated with psoriasis affecting in the same measure men and women but with a consistent geographic variability. Since the burden of PsA frequency has important implications in the definition of the healthcare policies, it is important to measure the frequency of disease in the general population. Treatments for giant cell arteritis: Meta-analysis and assessment of estimates reliability using the fragility index
To better communicate the results of randomized controlled trials (RCTs) of giant cell arteritis (GCA), we propose the use of the fragility index (FI), which is an intuitive measure defined as the minimum number of subjects whose status would have to change (e.g., from having the outcome to not) to render a statistically significant result nonsignificant, or vice-versa. Extra-criteria manifestations of antiphospholipid syndrome: Risk assessment and management
In this study, we aimed to evaluate a population of patients with primary APS (PAPS) whether the extra-criteria manifestations were more frequently found in subjects with higher adjusted Global APS Score (aGAPSS) values when compared to patients with thrombotic and/or obstetric APS ( “criteria” manifestations) only.
