Screening of Clenbuterol Hydrochloride Aptamers Based on Capillary Electrophoresis
In this study, we performed the aptamer selection towards a small molecule target of clenbuterol hydrochloride (Clen) by CE-SELEX. In brief, Clen were first incubated with an 80 nt ssDNA library, and CZE-UV approach was used to separate complex and random ssDNA. The complex was then collected into a vial followed by PCR amplification. Through three round selections, the third library was selected to clone and ten sequences were finally obtained. The dissociation constant (Kd) of three potential candidates (Apt 4, Apt 7 and Apt 12) were determined by CE-LIF, and showed high affinities of 9.315 × 10−7 M, 1.040 × 10−6 M...

Iolite Based Bulk Normalization as 100% (m/m) Quantification Strategy for Reduction of Laser Ablation-Inductively Coupled Plasma-Mass Spectrometry Transient Signal
In this study, the application of Iolite package was investigated for LA-ICP-MS elemental quantification, and a calculation code for the bulk normalization as 100% (m/m) strategy was compiled. We found that the spline interpolation approach was better than that of linear one for the correction of time-dependent instrument drift. BCR-2G as the quality material was used to assess the proposed code, and the results revealed that the code was practical and reliable. The analytical accuracy was influenced by the used calibration materials. TiO2, MgO, K2O and rare earth elements in BCR-2G were slightly off (5%–10%) when NIST S...

Advances in Detection Methods of β-Amyloid Protein
Publication date: September 2018Source: Chinese Journal of Analytical Chemistry, Volume 46, Issue 9Author(s): Meng JIANG, Xiao-Ying WANG, Xiao-Bing WANGAbstractAlzheimer's disease (AD) is a neurodegenerative disease with unknown etiology. β-amyloid protein (Aβ) is one of the specific biomarkers of AD, and many clinical studies suggest that abnormal levels of Aβ in blood, cerebrospinal fluid and brain tissue are closely related to the progression of AD. The analysis and evaluation of Aβ are important for early detection, tracking, prevention, and treatment of AD. In this paper, the present situations of the commonly use...

Study on Interaction of G-rich Oligonucleotides Modified Gold Nanoparticles with Cells
Publication date: September 2018Source: Chinese Journal of Analytical Chemistry, Volume 46, Issue 9Author(s): Yan-Hong SUN, Jia WEI, Zhen-Xin WANG, Xian-Ying MENGAbstractHerein, two kinds of ssDNA-GNPs (termed as PolyG1-GNPs and PolyG2-GNPs, respectively) were synthesized by modification of two different G-rich single-strand oligonucleotides (PolyG1 and PolyG2) onto 13-nm citrate-protected gold nanoparticles (GNPs) surface through formation of the sulfur-gold covalent bond, respectively. The as-prepared PolyG1-GNPs and PolyG2-GNPs had reasonable colloidal stability in complex dispersing matrixes. The effect of ssDNA sequen...
