A Variable Selection Method of Near Infrared Spectroscopy Based on Automatic Weighting Variable Combination Population Analysis
In this study, a novel variable selection strategy, automatic weighting variable combination population analysis (AWVCPA), is proposed. Firstly, binary matrix sampling (BMS) strategy, which provides each variable the same chance to be selected and generates different variable combinations, is used to produce a population of subsets to construct a population of sub-models. Then, the variable frequency (Fre) and partial least squares regression (Reg), two kinds of information vector (IVs), are weighted to obtain the value of the contribution of each spectral variables, and the influence of two IVs of Rre and Reg is considere...

Construction of Tumor Tissue Array on An Open-Access Microfluidic Chip
Publication date: January 2018 Source:Chinese Journal of Analytical Chemistry, Volume 46, Issue 1 Author(s): Dong-Guo LIN, Jin-Qiong LIN, Pei-Wen LI, Na YANG, Bang-Lao XU, Da-Yu LIU An open-access microfluidic chip which enabled automatic cell distribution and complex multi-step operations was developed. The microfluidic chip featured a key structure in which a nanoporous membrane was sandwiched by a cell culture chamber array layer and a corresponding media reservoir array layer. The microfluidic approach took advantage of the characteristics of nanoporous membrane. On one side, this membrane permitted the flow of...

Metal/Matrix Enhanced Time-of-flight Secondary Ion Mass Spectrometry for Single Cell Lipids Analysis
Publication date: January 2018 Source:Chinese Journal of Analytical Chemistry, Volume 46, Issue 1 Author(s): Hao-Wen LI, Xin HUA, Yi-Tao LONG The chemical components analysis of single cell is important for the understanding of physiological processes such as cell growth, signal transduction and apoptosis. Time-of-flight secondary ion mass spectrometry (ToF-SIMS) is a sensitive surface analysis technique with high spatial resolution, which has been used for single cell and micro-area analysis. However, relatively low ionization yield of biomolecules limited its wide applications in single cell analysis. Herein, we use...

A F örster Resonance Energy Transfer Ratiometric Probe Based on Quantum Dot-Cresyl Violet for Imaging Hydrogen Sulfide in Living Cells
Publication date: January 2018 Source:Chinese Journal of Analytical Chemistry, Volume 46, Issue 1 Author(s): Min BAI, Xiao-Wen CAO, Feng CHEN, Yue ZHAO, Yong-Xi ZHAO Hydrogen sulfide (H2S) has been confirmed as a significant endogenous gaseous signaling molecule involved in various physiological processes. In order to monitor H2S in living cells, a Forster resonance energy transfer (FRET) ratiometric probe based on quantum dot-cresyl violet was developed. In this work, the quantum dot nanospheres via a facile ultrasonication emulsion strategy, and the mixture chloroform solution containing hydrophobic quantum dots a...
