Pre-clinical impact of the synergistic mechanism of daptomycin and ceftaroline in patients with methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus bacteremia infections.
CONCLUSION: In vitro studies have shown that combination DAP and CFT is more efficacious than the combination on VAN and CFT in MRSA bacteremia infections. The synergic effects of DAP (bactericidal) and CFT (bactericidal) is statistically significant, in recent trials, warranting promising evidence for its use in complicated bacteremia infection.

Effect of Maternal Education on Prenatal Adherence of Iron-folic Acid Supplementation in Ethiopia: a Systematic review and Meta-analysis.
CONCLUSIONS: This review identified that increased maternal education leads to improved adherence of iron-folic acid supplementation amongst women across Ethiopia. This information may inform efforts of government and non-government organizations to encourage maternal education in order to sustained adherence of iron-folic acid supplementation. Further research is required in this critical area at regional, national, and global levels.

Prenatal Administration of Betamethasone and Neonatal Respiratory Distress Syndrome in Multifetal Pregnancies: A Randomized Controlled Trial.
CONCLUSION: Betamethasone therapy during 28-32 weeks of gestation in multifetal pregnancies was associated with better neonatal outcomes through significant reductions in NRDS incidence and requiring ventilator treatment. However, betamethasone administration did not reduce the chance of NRDS in premature infants.

Effect of intravitreal injection of aflibercept on cardiovascular risk parameters in patients with neovascular age related macular degeneration.
CONCLUSIONS: According to our study, administration of a single dose of aflibercept in eyes with neovascular age-related macular degeneration does not seem to affect the evaluated biomarkers that are related to cardiovascular disease.

Pregnancy Complicated by the Most Frequent forms of Maturity Onset Diabetes of the Young: a Narrative Review on its Pharmacological Implications.
CONCLUSION: The impact of changes on the pharmacological behavior of drugs like SU and other metabolized/transported by mechanisms altered in pregnancy complicated by MODY is unknown. However, a switching-to-insulin recommendation formulated for MODY 1 and 3 seems to be justified. Further research in this field is needed for a better understanding of changes in drug activity associated with this particular subset of patients with MFD.

CONCLUSION: WLBU2 distributes widely to mouse tissues and is rapidly cleared with a terminal radioactivity half-life of 22 h, a clearance of 27.4 mL/h/kg, and a distribution volume of 0.94 L/kg. At 2-100 µg-eq/g, the concentrations of 14CWLBU2 appear high enough in the tissues to account for inhibition of microbial growth.

Drug Utilization in Critically ill Adults with Augmented Renal Clearance Compared to Normal Renal Clearance: Implications for use of Antimicrobials with Predominant Renal Excretion.
CONCLUSION: Significant proportion of critically ill adults exhibit ARC and such patients are more likely to achieve lower trough concentrations of vancomycin than recommended. All critically ill adults with normal serum creatinine are be screened for ARC using urine creatinine as soon as possible for appropriate adjustment in the dosage regimen of antimicrobials with predominant renal elimination.
