Temporary Bridging of Severe Medial Column Injury of the Foot using Internal Fixation 使用內固定支架原理來為嚴重足部內側柱損傷作臨時橋接:病例報告
We report a case of severe midfoot crush injury that was treated with temporary bridging fixation using a low-profile locking plate. It is an evolving technique that solves the problems of external fixation, and a stable construct can be achieved for early weight bearing. Locking Plate for AO Type C Intra-articular Distal Radius Fracture: Volar or Dorsal Approach? 以鎖定鋼板治療AO- C型橈骨遠端關節內骨折 ---- 應使用掌側抑或背側入路?
Conclusion The volar approach group demonstrated better range of motion and functional score. The complication rates were similar between the two groups. The volar surgical approach should be adopted in most operative cases of AO type C intra-articular fracture distal radius while the dorsal approach should be reserved for intra-articular fracture with dorsal comminuted fragments. A Rare Intra-articular Pathology of Knee Lipoma Arborescens: A Report of Two Cases Managed by Arthroscopic Synovectomy 膝關節罕見的關節內病變--樹枝狀脂肪瘤:由關節鏡滑膜切除術醫治的兩個病例報告
We present two cases of patients with recurrent knee effusion. MRI showed a frond-like fatty synovial mass and joint effusion that suggested the likelihood of lipoma arborescens. Arthroscopic synovectomy was performed and pathology confirmed the diagnosis. There was no recurrence of symptoms after synovectomy. (Source: Journal of Orthopaedics, Trauma and Rehabilitation)
