The report of double lumen tube anaesthesia in National Cancer Centre of Mongolia
If we can successfully place a double lumen tube, then it will ensure safety for our patients throw out the use of one lung anaesthesia. We could achieve adequate oxygen saturation (Spo2 or SaO2) with maintenance of PaO2 the level of 100-150mm Hg. (Source: Australasian Medical Journal - AMJ)

A new view of genetic mutations
I discussed RNA editing mechanisms leading to the diversity of protein; new mechanisms escape from common general knowledge in biology that one gene encoding for one single protein. I also gave two known examples of RNA editing mechanisms that generate a high level of protein diversity: chemosensory proteins (CSPs) and odour binding protein (OBP) families. It is worthy to note that these RNA variants are not disease-causing mutations but rather an evolutionary mechanism in microorganisms and insects. Furthermore, these genetic variants presenting at the RNA level are not lethal and tissue-specific. One example, the sex phe...

An unusual case of neonatal mastocytoma
We describe two episodes characterized by an exacerbation of the skin lesion with the typical Darier ’s sign. Both of them occurred after breastfeeding. In both episodes, the mother had eaten shrimps before the breastfeeding. This peculiar case, difficult to understand regarding its pathogenesis, was successful resolved just with dietary prescription given to the breast feeding mother. Pharmacokinetic study of intravenous posaconaozle in a critically ill patient with multiple organ failure
Prescribing antimicrobial therapy in critically ill patients is challenging given lack of standard recommendation. Herein, a pharmacokinetic study of intravenous posaconazole was conducted to confirm plasma and tissue concentrations in a 37-year-old patient with invasive Aspergillus terreus infection coincided with renal and hepatic impairment. After dosing adjustment to 300mg every 48 hours, posaconazole exposure using area under the concentration-time curve (AUC) and average concentration (Cavg) reached the target recommendation. However, no significant accumulation of tissue posaconazole was found. Moreover, hyperbiliru...

Willingness to pay for highly active antiretroviral (HAART) drugs and HIV treatment monitoring tests among People Living with HIV/AIDS
Conclusion Majority of people living with HIV/AIDS were willing to pay for antiretrovira l drugs and HIV treatment monitoring tests but only a minor proportion were willing to pay the actual cost of services. This may adversely affect continuity of treatment and enrolment of new patients into the treatment programme. In-order to sustain the gains of the HIV treatment programme and achie ve optimal treatment outcomes for patients on treatment in Nigeria there may be the need to subsidize antiretroviral treatment services for people living with HIV/AIDS.
