Experimentation on Accuracy of Non Functional Requirement Prioritization Approaches for different complexity Projects
Publication date: Available online 20 April 2016 Source:Perspectives in Science Author(s): Raj Kumar Chopra, Varun Gupta, Durg Singh Chauhan Non functional requirements must be selected for implementation together with functional requirements to enhance the success of software projects. Three approaches exist for performing the prioritization of non functional requirements using the suitable prioritization technique. This paper performs experimentation on three different complexity versions of the industrial software project using Cost-Value prioritization technique employing three approaches. Experimentation is ...

Polynomial Selection in Number Field Sieve for Integer Factorization
Publication date: Available online 20 April 2016 Source:Perspectives in Science Author(s): Gireesh Pandey, S.K. Pal The general number field sieve (GNFS) is the fastest algorithm for factoring large composite integers which is made up by two prime numbers. Polynomial selection is an important step of GNFS. The asymptotic runtime depends on choice of good polynomial pairs. In this paper, we present polynomial selection algorithm that will be modeled with size and root properties. The correlations between polynomial coefficient and number of relations have been explored with experimental findings. (Source: Perspectives in Science)

Energy consumption in Hodgkin Huxley type Fast spiking neuron model exposed to an external electric field
Publication date: Available online 20 April 2016 Source:Perspectives in Science Author(s): K. Usha, M.K. Sreepriya, P.A. Subha This paper evaluates the change in metabolic energy required to maintain the signalling activity of neurons in the presence of an external electric field. We have analysed the Hodgkin Huxley type conductance based Fast spiking neuron model as electrical circuit by changing the frequency and amplitude of the applied electric field. The study has shown that, the presence of electric field increases the membrane potential, electrical energy supply and metabolic energy consumption. As the amp...

Mass Market Development Strategies of Software Industries: Case Study Based Research
Publication date: Available online 20 April 2016 Source:Perspectives in Science Author(s): Varun Gupta, Kamlesh Dutta, Durg Singh Chauhan The success in competitive mass market software development depends on the quality of software development and market segments targeted. Market segments are categorized by uncertainties contributed by “Newness” and “turbulences”, making the software success stochastic in nature. Selecting good market segments, delivering high quality software versions in the lowest time than competitors, result in increasing demand in markets and ultimately revenues. Enhanced customer b...
