PS171 The Effect of Haematological Variables on the Verifynow P2Y12 Assay in Coronary Artery Disease Patients (CAD) Undergoing Interventional Angiographic Procedure
The VerifyNow P2Y12 (VN-P2Y12) assay is a whole blood platelets function test (PFT) which is widely used to asses clopidogrel high on treatment platelets reactivity (HTPR). The test results are presented in P2Y12 reaction units (PRU), percent of inhibition (%Inh) and baseline (BASE). The PRU value has been established as the expression of HTPR. However, the optimal PRU cut-off point of HTPR is variable among literature which hinders using it for the personalization of antiplatelet therapy. This variation may be due to the interference of haematological variables. (Source: CVD Prevention and Control)

PS117 A Retrospective Cohort to Study the Mortality and Survival Rate in Chronic Heart Failure (CHF) Patients After Multidisciplinary Heart Failure Reversal Therapy (HFRT)
India will have nearly 61 million coronary heart disease (CHD) cases which would to lead to 3.4 million of deaths by year 2015. So we thought that Heart Failure Reversal Therapy (HFRT), a Multidisciplinary non-interventional therapy, of 6  days can be provide convincing beneficial outcomes in chronic heart failure (CHF) patients. PS175 Mid-Term Results of Sutureless Surgical Repair for Oozing Type Left Ventricular Free Wall Rupture
Left ventricular free wall rupture (LVFWR) is a serious complication after acute myocardial infarction (AMI). Although the appropriate treatment for this lethal condition is still controversial, the sutureless surgical technique has been reported useful for oozing-type rupture. PS181 Right Heart Failure as a Risk Factor for Cerebrovascular Event in Patients With Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease
Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) is an entity with high morbidity and mortality worldwide. COPD mortality for 2020 is predicted at third place, second only to ischemic heart disease and cerebrovascular disease (CVD). COPD patients have a higher risk of morbidity and mortality from cardiovascular causes, such as ischemic heart disease, heart failure, peripheral artery disease, diabetes mellitus, depression, thromboembolism, pulmonary hypertension, renal failure, cardiac arrhythmias and obesity. PS182 Remote ECG Monitoring the Oculocardiac Reflex During Strabismus Surgery
The occurrence of the oculocardiac reflex (OCR) is very high during strabismus surgery. The serious OCR could damage patient ’s life. So, A real-time ECG Monitoring is often used in strabismus surgery. ECG Monitor can monitor ECG in real time but can not record it in time. A electrocardiograph can record ECG in real time but is unfit for real-time ECG monitoring. Otherwise, a longer period of time for ECG to a retrospec tive analysis could not be made by the two methods. Then, it is effected that discovering OCR incidence in time and diagnosing OCR accurately, especially observing the occurrence rules of OCR. (Source: CV...

PS183 Prognostic Significance of ECG Changes in Intermediate-Risk Patients With Acute Pulmonary Embolism
Current European Society of Cardiology guidelines on the diagnosis and management of pulmonary embolism divide patients into 3 risk categories: high, intermediate and low. The surface 12-lead electrocardiography is one of the first test used in the emergency department for patients presenting with cardiac and respiratory symptoms. (Source: CVD Prevention and Control)

PS186 Conventional Mapping and Ablation of a Lower-Loop Reentrant Atrial Flutter
About 20% of patients have atypical atrial flutter circuits. Among these, lower loop flutter (LLF), in which the impulse goes around the inferior vena cava (IVC), has been described. The three-dimensional mapping allowing characterization of these circuits have been necessary to effective ablation. Despite their advantages, these are usually costly and not always available. Here we present the case of a 67 y/o male patient with history of chronic heart disease where the ablation of a LLF was done only using conventional mapping and fluoroscopy. PS188 Association of Apelin and Atrial Fibrillation in Patients Undergoing Catheter Ablation
Atrial fibrillation (AF) is the most common sustained arrhythmia, however in the case of paroxysmal type, its detection is often challenging. Apelin (Ap) is a peptide hormone that affects cardiovascular system mainly by countering the renin-angiotensin-aldosterone axis and stimulating cardiac contractility. Previous studies suggested that there might be a link between Ap and AF. If there is some association between Ap and the duration of AF is unknown. (Source: CVD Prevention and Control)

PS189 Safety and Efficacy of Percutaneous Left Atrial Appendage. Single Center-initial Experience
Atrial fibrillation (AF) increases by fivefold the risk of stroke and the left atrial appendage (LAA) is the main source of thrombus formation in the majority. Therefore, in patients with contraindication for long-term oral anticoagulation therapy, LAA closure is a potential alternative for stroke prevention in AF. (Source: CVD Prevention and Control)

PS192 Safety, Efficacy and Tolerance of IF Inhibitor Ivabradine in Patients With Atrial Fibrillation and Heart Failure: Diana Study
Atrial Fibrillation (AF) is the most common arrhytmia in Heart Failure (HF), and may lead to worsening of symptoms. A beta-blocker is the preferred treatment for Heart Rate (HR) control, but are often non-effecfive or not tolerated. Ivabradine is a new agent inhibiting If current, resulting in a decrease of HR without haemodynamic compromise. Thus, it is plausible that inhibition of If by ivabradine may slow AV node conduction and thereby reduce ventricular rate during AF. (Source: CVD Prevention and Control)
