PS186 Conventional Mapping and Ablation of a Lower-Loop Reentrant Atrial Flutter

About 20% of patients have atypical atrial flutter circuits. Among these, lower loop flutter (LLF), in which the impulse goes around the inferior vena cava (IVC), has been described. The three-dimensional mapping allowing characterization of these circuits have been necessary to effective ablation. Despite their advantages, these are usually costly and not always available. Here we present the case of a 67 y/o male patient with history of chronic heart disease where the ablation of a LLF was done only using conventional mapping and fluoroscopy.
