ConclusionsThe magnitude of transfusion transmitted infections was lower than the previous studies conducted in Ethiopia. However, the decline in trends of transfusion transmitted infections has not been significant for some pathogens. Therefore, strict adherence with the criteria of preliminary blood donor selection should be implemented to reduce the amount of blood being withdrawn from transfusion after collection and screening. ConclusionIn our study, albumin, manganese, cobalt and copper values did not differ between SCA children in steady state and Hb-AA children. A new adult AML case with an extremely complex karyotype, remission and relapse combined with high hyperdiploidy of a normal chromosome set in secondary AML
ConclusionsTo the best of our knowledge, a comparable adult AML associated with such a CK, coexistence of 3q rearrangements with loss ofTP53 at diagnosis, and HH in secondary AML were not previously reported. Rare and unusual case of anti-factor XI antibodies in patient with plasma cell leukemia
ConclusionBoth PCL and anti-factor XI inhibitors are two very rare entities. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first reported case of a factor XI inhibitor arising in the setting of PCL.
