Cu (II) tyrosinate complexes containing methyl substituted phenanthrolines: Synthesis, X ‐ray crystal structures, biomolecular interactions, antioxidant activity, ROS generation and cytotoxicity
A new ternary copper (II) tyrosinate complexes containing methyl substituted 1,10 ‐phenanthrolines have been synthesized and characterized by CHN analysis, cyclic voltammetry, ESI‐MS, FTIR and single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction techniques. They have been tested for theirin vitro DNA/BSA interactions by the spectroscopic methods. These complexes exhibited higher cytotoxic and ROS activities. DFT and TD ‐DFT study of iridium complexes with low‐color‐temperature and low‐efficiency roll‐off properties
A series of heteroleptic cyclometalated Ir (III) complexes, which are used for OLED application, were investigated by DFT and TD ‐DFT method. The frontier molecular orbital character and charge transfer character show that they have the advantages of low‐efficiency roll‐off and low‐color‐temperature properties, which is a ‘stumbling block’ in the process of OLED solid‐lighting's development. Molecular structures of metal complexes were determined using single crystal X‐ray diffraction studies. Lysosome ‐targeted potent half‐sandwich iridium(III) α‐diimine antitumor complexes
