Facebook Buying App For $16 Billion
(Reuters) - Facebook Inc will buy fast-growing mobile-messaging startup WhatsApp for $16 billion in cash and stock, as the world's largest social network looks for ways to boost its popularity, especially among a younger crowd. If you're not from Chicago, you probably haven't heard of this ex-con, dirtbag former congressman, but for some reason his name came to mind over the weekend. I wondered for a moment about what ever happened to him, but quickly dismissed the thought from my mind and didn't bother to look him up on the internets.
