FUNDING: EFTS Award
The MidContinental Region (MCR) is offering $150 in start-up funding for  the Electronic Funds Transfer System (EFTS) to each MCR library using DOCLINE but not currently participating in the EFTS program.  EFTS is used by health sciences libraries, and other DOCLINE users,  for processing payment of inter-library loan transactions.   Benefits include reduced costs,  minimizes human error, reduced paperwork and  increases efficiency.  More information on the program is here. One of the documents expected of a profession is a code of ethics. Members of the Medical Library Association have produced one. In conversation with MCR members we decided that this emblem of our professionalism should be posted in all the health sciences libraries in the region.
