FUNDING: EFTS Award Application Deadline Extended!
The MidContinental Region (MCR) is offering $150 in start-up funding for  the Electronic Funds Transfer System (EFTS) to each MCR library using DOCLINE but not currently participating in the EFTS program.  EFTS is used by health sciences libraries, and other DOCLINE users,  for processing payment of inter-library loan transactions.   Benefits include reduced costs,  minimizes human error, reduced paperwork and  increases efficiency.  More information on the program is here. DIRLINE Ends Its 30 Year Run
Due to a changing technical and budgetary environment, the Division of Specialized Information Services (SIS) is no longer adding, updating or maintaining records in DIRLINE. As of October 1st, 2013, and for the following fiscal year, DIRLINE is searchable but the records are marked as ”archived.” SIS expects to retire DIRLINE at the end of 2014. DOCLINE: Update Routing Tables
Dear DOCLINE Users, Routing tables are an essential ingredient for assuring efficient borrowing and support for the resource sharing plan .  The DOCLINE team strongly urges users to routinely review their routing tables and update. DOCLINE: Reminder to Users – Submit Out of Office Requests
Libraries using DOCLINE must submit an Out of Office request when shutdown for staff vacations/holidays, or for an emergency.  The action makes your library  temporarily inactive while you are away.   With a busy holiday season coming soon, you would be advised to check your calendars and the make the request.  It’s fast and easy to submit your request.
