Fascia iliaca block for pain control in hip fracture patients
Conclusion Fascia iliaca block is a reproducible, safe and effective technique for pain management. It is a keystone in pain treatment for patients with a proximal femur fracture at our institution. Prognostic factors after a traumatic hip dislocation. A long-term retrospective study
Conclusion Our study suggests that complex dislocations are associated with poorer functional and radiological outcomes than simple dislocations. We also found a strong association between intraarticular fragments and osteoarthritis, so surgical fragment removal could be considered in these cases.
