Chemotherapy Immunophenoprofiles in Non ‐Small‐Cell Lung Cancer by Personalized Membrane Proteomics
Conclusion and Clinical Relevance: Without the additional isolation of specific immune cell populations, our study demonstrated that PEM–CIS chemotherapy altered patients’ immune system in terms of neutrophils, T cells, and antigen presentation pathways. (Source: Proteomics. Clinical Applications)

Variability Assessment of 90 Salivary Proteins in Intra ‐Day and Inter‐Day Samples from Healthy Donors by Multiple Reaction Monitoring‐Mass Spectrometry
Conclusions and clinical relevanceOur study elucidated the intra‐ and inter‐individual variability of 90 disease‐related proteins in saliva samples from healthy donors. The findings may facilitate the further development of salivary biomarkers for oral and systemic diseases. This article is protected by copyright. All rights reserved (Source: Proteomics. iTRAQ ‐Based Proteomic Analysis Reveals Protein Profile in Plasma from Children with Autism
ConclusionThese above described proteins are found involved in different pathways that have previously been linked to the pathophysiology of autism spectrum disorders (ASDs). The results strongly support that focal adhesions, acting cytoskeleton, cell adhesion, motility and migration, synaptogenesis, and complement system are involved in the pathogenesis of autism, and highlight the important role of platelet function in the pathophysiology of autism. Back Cover: MALDI Imaging ‐Guided Microproteomic Analyses of Heterogeneous Breast Tumors—A Pilot Study
Matrix‐assisted laser desorption ionisation (MALDI)‐imaging coupled to laser microdissection (LMD)‐based microproteomics to study intratumor heterogeneity. MALDI imaging dataset from breast cancer FFPE tissue sections were segmented to draw intratumor proteomic heterogeneity. Tissue regions containing 3500 cells from different molecular clusters were collected by LMD and processed for further microproteomic analyses. The combination of MALDI imaging with LMD‐based microproteomics will pave the way to in‐depth characterization of intratumor heterogeneity in pathology. Front Cover: The differential plasma proteome of obese and overweight individuals undergoing a nutritional weight loss and maintenance intervention
In the pan‐European DiOGenes study; a cohort of nearly 500 overweight subjects underwent a low‐calorie meal replacement diet intervention, followed by a weight maintenance period. Plasma samples before and after the study were analysed using mass spectrometry and a differential proteome analysis was performed, also highlighting protein associations with clinical relevant variables such as BMI, HOMA, Matsuda, and fat mass. This is reported by Sergio Oller Moreno, Ornella Cominetti, Antonio Núñez Galindo, Irina Irincheeva, John Corthésy, Arne Astrup, Wim H.M. Saris, Jörg Hager, Martin Kussmann and Loïc Dayon, articl...
