Clinical experiences of NBI laryngoscope in diagnosis of laryngeal lesions.
We describe the glottic conditions of the patients. All 3675 patients underwent laryngoscopy equipped with conventional white light (CWL) and NBI system. 1149 patients received a biopsy process. And 1153 lesions were classified into different groups according to their histopathological results. Neuroprotective effect of lovastatin by inhibiting NMDA receptor1 in 6-hydroxydopamine treated PC12 cells.
In this study, 6-Hydroxydopamine (6-OHDA)-treated pheochromocytoma-12 (PC12) cells were used to investigate the neuroprotective nature of lovastatin. After incubation with 6-OHDA and/or lovastatin, test kits were used to detect the levels of LDH and glutamate, which were released from PC12 cells exposed to different culture media. The mRNA levels of TNF-α, and NMDAR1 were determined by RT-PCR and the protein levels were analyzed by western blot. Orthodontic extrusion of horizontally impacted mandibular molars.

Antipsychotic-like effect of minocycline in a rat model.
CONCLUSION: We concluded that minocycline has beneficial effects on rearing behavior and stereotypy, which are accepted to be indicators of antipsychotic effect. Taken together, minocycline, as an anti-oxidant and cytoprotective agent, can be useful in neuroprotection especially on early stages of psychosis or prepsychotic patients with insignificant symptoms. Minocycline is worthy of being investigated for its anti-psychotic effects as a primary or an adjunctive drug.

Lesions of biliary hamartoms can be diagnosed by ultrasonography, computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging.
CONCLUSIONS: Biliary hamartomas showed characteristic features on imaging findings by ultrasonography, CT, and MRI. Although abdominal ultrasonography could detect suspected biliary hamartomas, the best choice for further diagnosis is MRI examination instead of CT. In addition, follow-up ultrasonography examinations are necessary.

Glutathione S-transferase M1 (GSTM1) null genotype and coronary artery disease risk: a meta-analysis.

Triple, double- and single-incision laparoscopic cholecystectomy: a prospective study.
CONCLUSIONS: At a comparable level with DILC and TILC, single incision laparosccopic cholecystectomy is a method which can be used without incurring any extra costs or requiring additional instrumentation or training and which has good cosmetic results and a low requirement for analgesia.
