Bioequivalence Study of 100 mg Cilostazol Tablets in Healthy Thai Adult Volunteers
This study was conducted at the Siriraj Clinical Research Center, Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University, Bangkok, Thailand. Each volunteer was initially treated according to either the Test-Reference (TR) or the Reference-Test (RT) sequence, after which each subject was switched to the other study sequence after a two-week washout period. Pharmacokinetic analysis was performed using log-transformed ratios (test/reference) for Cmax, AUC0-tlast, AUC0-∞, Tmax, t1/2, and λZ for both cilostazol and 3,4-dehydro-cilostazol (its active metabolite) with 90% confidence interval. Physical examination, clinical l...

Erythrocyte partitioning profile of Isosteviol in human and rat blood
ConclusionsThe findings suggest that isosteviol preferentially partitions into plasma compartments in man and rat. The significance of this profile for the efficacy, tissue uptake and retention of isosteviol will, however, have to be further studied. (Source: Current Therapeutic Research)

Effects of Periodic Intensive Insulin Therapy: An Updated Review
ConclusionsRecent advancements show that IIT is an effective option for both type 1 diabetes mellitus and type 2 diabetes mellitus patient populations. This treatment resembles normal pancreatic function so closely that it has significantly reduced the effects of relatively common complications of diabetes in comparison to standard treatments. Thus, this new treatment is a promising advancement in the management of diabetes. (Curr Ther Res Clin Exp. 2019; 80:XXX–XXX). (Source: Current Therapeutic Research)

Intra-Articular Hyaluronic Acid in the Symptomatic Treatment of Knee Osteoarthritis: A Meta-Analysis of Single-Injection Products
ConclusionsThere are certainly limits to the post hoc placebo comparison method, for individual studies. But for each synthesis per subgroup or group, the results were properly confirmed using multiple statistical approaches and weighing methods. This meta-analysis suggests that monoinjections produce results similar to multi-injections of IA HA in terms of pain relief in the treatment of knee osteoarthritis.
