Is vitamin D deficiency associated with using veil in female garment workers?

Isolation and characterization of dipropyl-, S-propyl ester from Exiguobacterium mexicanum (MSSRF-S9) against larvae of malaria and dengue vectors
Conclusions The results of the bacterial extract of E. mexicanum are promising as potential larvicidal compound against the mosquito vectors (An. culicifacies and Ae. albopictus). Evaluating correlation between serum liver enzymes and toxocariasis: a case control study
Conclusions It was concluded that the liver enzyme alteration is not the valid indicator for predicting toxocariasis. Because the kind of liver dysfunction, that is caused by the larvae of Toxocara, is unspecified, and it seems factors such as the number of larvae can play a basic role for the emergence of alterations. Ameliorative antimalarial effects of the combination of rutin and swertiamarin on malarial parasites

Molecular detection of Anaplasma species in questing ticks (ixodids) in Ethiopia
Conclusions The results demonstrated the presence of several Anaplasma spp. including the zoonotic A. phagocytophilum and potentially zoonotic A. ovis. Our finding identified potential vectors of A. ovis to be further confirmed. However, an extended study is needed to identify the potential vectors of A. phagocytophilum. Epidemiological study of cutaneous leishmaniasis in southwest of Iran during 2001–2011
Conclusions Epidemiological parameters such as age, gender, occupation, season, residence (urban, rural) and lesion location in endemic regions have had significant effects on the prevalence of CL in Susangerd county and the findings can be effective for assessing disease prevention programs. In addition, CL might become a serious dermatological health problem in the near future due to a great population movement to the neighboring country Iraq with a high incidence to an endemic area. A 5-year period (2010–2014) retrospective study of human cutaneous leishmaniasis in Ahvaz County, southwest of Iran
Conclusions In this study 59.1% of patients were males and this may due to their job, more contact with Leishmania vectors and wearing fewer cloths. Most of the lesions were placed in hands, feet and face. Therefore the necessity of choosing the appropriate clothing, using mosquito nets seem to be important.
