From the FDA Consumer Health Information Before you eat that raw cookie dough read this. Raw dough can make you sick. Eating raw dough or batter—whether it’s for bread, cookies, pizza or tortillas—could make you, and your kids, sick, says Jenny Scott, a senior advisor in FDA’s Center for Food Safety and Applied Nutrition. According to Scott, the bottom line for you and your kids is don’t eat raw dough. And even though there are websites devoted to “flour crafts,” don’t give your kids raw dough or baking mixes that contain flour to play with. Read why here. (Source: BHIC)

County Health Rankings & Roadmaps Webinar
The County Health Rankings & Roadmaps program is a collaboration between the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and the University of Wisconsin Population Health Institute. The county rankings measure a variety of health related factors on an annual basis. Examples of these factors include high school graduation rates, air quality and obesity. Report Card on Walkable Communities
The National Physical Activity Plan Alliance (NPAPA) is a coalition of organizations working together to provide an evidence-based plan to guide efforts that promote physical activity in the United States. Pathways to Health Equity
The National National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine, sponsored by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, published an interactive report, Communities in Action: Pathways to Health Equity. Youth Compendium of Physical Activities
National Collaborative on Childhood Obesity Research (NCCOR) has a new resource, Youth Compendium of Physical Activities. This compendium provides measures of energy expenditure for 196 common youth activities including sedentary activities, standing activities, playing and participating in games, and walking and running.
