ConclusionEndodontic therapy of mandibular premolars is a challenge for clinician because of their frequent morphological and anatomical abnormalities. Proper knowledge about number of root canals and canal configuration is a key to success in Endodontic. There is a great variability in different population regarding the root canal configuration in mandibular pre-molars. However most studies state the mandibular first premolar has one root canal. Clinical evaluation of short term space variation following premature loss of primary second molar, at early permanent dentition stage
ConclusionThe mean combined space before second primary molar extraction was 25.04 mm (± 4.25), while the average space post extraction was 24.61 (± 4.27) and the difference was found to be statistically significant (P < 0.01). Furthermore, neither subject’s age, nor successor premolar eruption stage were found to be correlated significantly with the amount of space loss (P-values 0.989 and 0.811, respectively). Space loss after premature extraction of second primary molar in three weeks time frame was statistically significant thereby emphasizing the use of space maintainers at the earliest. 3D CBCT Human Adult Odontometrics: Comparative assessment in Saudi, Jordan and Egypt population
Conclusion3D CBCT imaging permits us to measure the tooth size effectively and accurately. Based on results, significant asymmetry was revealed in 9 out of 14 pairs in relation to side disparities. No significant differences in tooth size between gender and among races were found. Effect of Intra-Canal Cryotherapy on Post-Endodontic Pain in Single-Visit RCT: A Randomized Controlled Trial
ConclusionFinal flushing of the canal with saline either cold or at room temperature was effective for post-endodontic pain control. This can be promising as an essential step in endodontic treatment to reduce post-endodontic pain. No gold standard was detected for the width-to-height proportions of maxillary incisors.
