Prenatal Hypoxia Ischemia Increases Male Rat Sexual Behavior
ConclusionOur results indicate that HI had a long‐term effect on sexual behavior despite exhibiting motor skill impairment. Accordingly, injuries during the fetal period may cause behavioral problems in adulthood. Ferraz MMD, Sab IM, Silva MA, Santos DAS, and Ferraz MR. Resveratrol Stimulates Hydrogen Sulfide (H2S) Formation to Relax Murine Corpus Cavernosum
ConclusionsThese results demonstrate that RVT‐induced relaxation is at least partly dependent on H2S formation and acts independent of eNOS pathway. In phosphodiesterase 5 inhibitor (PDE‐5i) nonresponder population, combination therapy with RVT may reverse erectile dysfunction via stimulating endogenous H2S formation. Analysis of the Interobserver Variability in Penile Length Assessment
ConclusionsIn this large, multicenter, multi‐observer study of penis size, flaccid measurements underestimated erect size. It also seems likely that there is significant interobserver variability. We believe erect penis measurements should be used for men being considered for treatment of small penis anxiety. Interplay Between Premature Ejaculation and Erectile Dysfunction: A Systematic Review and Meta‐Analysis
ConclusionsIn conclusion, the present data showed that ED and PE are not distinctly separate entities, but should be considered from a dimensional point of view. Understanding this dimensional perspective might help sexual health care professionals in providing the most appropriate therapeutic approach to realistically increase patient related outcomes in sexual medicine. Impact of Prostate Cancer Treatment on the Sexual Quality of Life for Men‐Who‐Have‐Sex‐with‐Men
ConclusionsThe negative impact on sexual QoL can be severe for MSM and requires targeted attention. Penile–vaginal intercourse and erectile function have been the primary focus of sexual research and rehabilitation for men with PCa, and do not adequately reflect the sexual practices of MSM. Our findings suggest that future research dedicated to MSM with PCa is needed to incorporate their sexual practices and preferences specifically into treatment decisions, and that targeted oncological and psychosocial support services are also warranted. New Methodology for Investigating Ejaculation Dysfunction: Measuring Intraluminal Seminal Vesicle Pressure in Rats with a Telemetric Device
