Erect Penile Dimensions in a Cohort of 778 Middle Eastern Men: Establishment of a Nomogram
ConclusionA nomogram for Middle Eastern men can be used as a standard when advising men with small penis anxiety. The importance of measuring erect size and allowing for infra‐pubic fat interference in measurement is emphasized. We envisage that this tool can be used to educate and reassure concerned men about the size of their penises. The Use of HCG‐Based Combination Therapy for Recovery of Spermatogenesis after Testosterone Use
ConclusionsWe here provide an early report of the feasibility of using combination therapy with HCG and supplemental medications in treating men with testosterone‐related infertility. Future discussion and studies are needed to further characterize this therapeutic approach and document the presumed improved tolerability and speed of recovery compared with unaided withdrawal of exogenous testosterone. Quality of Life and Psychological Adjustment of Women Living with 46,XY Differences of Sex Development
ConclusionsItalian people living with 46,XY DSD were well adapted and successful; they reported a good QoL but showed higher degree of psychological distress than the comparison group. The Relationship Between Metabolic Syndrome, Its Components, and Erectile Dysfunction: A Systematic Review and a Meta‐Analysis of Observational Studies
ConclusionsMetabolic syndrome is associated with a high risk rate of ED, and patients with MetS should be informed about this association and encouraged to make lifestyle modifications to improve their general health and to limit cardiovascular risk as well as ED prevalence. However, manuscripts included in meta‐analysis were observational studies that prohibits ascertainment of temporal associations and necessitates further prospective studies. Dealing with Female Sexuality: Training, Attitude, and Practice of Obstetrics and Gynecology Residents from a Developing Country
ConclusionThe vast majority of Brazilian Ob/Gyn residents enrolling in a sexuality course had little previous formal training on this topic in medical school and during their residency programs. Most residents do not take sexual histories of pregnant patients, do not feel confident in answering questions about sexuality in pregnancy, and attribute these difficulties to lack of knowledge. These findings point to a clear need for additional training in sexuality among Brazilian Ob/Gyn residents. Vieira TCSB, de Souza E, da Silva I, Torloni MR, Ribeiro MC, and Nakamura MU.
