Abstract
To validate the technique of the single Heartstring aortotomy for multiple off-pump venous bypass grafts (described in 2015), the results of a 38-month follow-up study of 18 patients, including high-risk patients, are presented. No early deaths or cardiac or cerebral complications occurred. During the follow-up period, 2 patients died of non-cardiac causes, and 3 developed coronary ischemia. Clinical Outcomes of Surgical Repair with a Composite Graft for Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Accompanied by Iliac Artery Aneurysm.
Conclusion: The increased technical demand involved with handmade composite grafting did not negatively impact the outcomes. This technique may be a viable option because it overcomes problems associated with commercial grafts.

Intact and Perforated Pulmonary Hydatid Cyst: A Comparative Study from Damascus, Syria.
Conclusion: The early discovery and treatment of intact pulmonary hydatid cysts reduced the hospitalization time, chest tube duration, and postoperative complication rate. Relative to intact cysts, perforated cysts are more complex and are associated with more expensive and time-consuming surgical treatment.

Thoracic Chordoma Misdiagnosed as Primary Adenocarcinoma of the Mediastinum.

Abstract
Chordoma is a rare malignant bone tumor originating from the embryonic notochord. Herein, we present a case of thoracic chordoma located at T3-T5 that was misdiagnosed as primary mediastinal adenocarcinoma. The patient underwent neoadjuvant chemoradiation and the disease showed little response. Due to vertebral body invasion, we performed en bloc mass removal and partial corpectomy (T4-5) in collaboration with orthopedic surgeons.

Successful Dual-Patch Closure of a Fistula between the Right Pulmonary Artery and the Left Atrium.

Abstract
A fistula between the right pulmonary artery and the left atrium is a very rare congenital anomaly, for which there is no definitive embryogenetic explanation. Patients present with cyanosis or clubbing, and the treatment strategy is to close the fistula, which can be done by an open surgical technique or by percutaneous intervention. Although rare, this condition should be considered in the differential diagnosis when evaluating a patient with central cyanosis.

Genetic Features of Lung Adenocarcinoma with Ground- Glass Opacity: What Causes the Invasiveness of Lung Adenocarcinoma?
Conclusion: In conclusion, GGO LUAD exhibited a higher TMB than non-GGO LUAD. No clinically meaningful mutations were found to be specific to GGO LUAD, but mutations involved in the epithelial-mesenchymal transition or cell cycle were found in both tumor types and in non-GGO tissue alone. These findings could explain the non-invasiveness of GGO-type LUAD.

Hemodynamic Performance of Pericardial Bioprostheses in the Aortic Position.
Conclusion: Carpentier-Edwards Perimount Magna and Magna Ease bovine pericardial valves showed satisfactory hemodynamic performance with low rates of PPM, although the reference EOA could overestimate the true EOA for individual patients.

Traumatic Peripheral Arterial Injury with Open Repair: A 10-Year Single-Institutional Analysis.
Conclusion: Blunt trauma was associated with higher MESS than penetrating trauma, and amputation was more frequent. In particular, patients with blunt trauma had significantly higher MESS than patients with penetrating trauma (8.2±2.2 vs. 5.8±1.3, respectively; p=0.005), and amputation was performed when revascularization failed in cases of blunt trauma of the lower extremity. Therefore, particular care is needed in making treatment decisions for patients with peripheral arterial injuries caused by blunt trauma.

First Multi-Detector Computed Tomography Evidence of Transcatheter Pacing System Migration and Embolization into the Pulmonary Vasculature.
We present the first case of multidetector computed tomography images of leadless pacemaker migration and embolization in the pulmonary middle lobe artery. The patient was managed by percutaneous retrieval of the dislodged device and re-implantation in the appropriate position.

Acute Type A Aortic Dissection in a Patient with Situs Inversus Totalis.

Delayed Treatment of Iatrogenic Brachial Arteriovenous Fistula.
We report the case of an 18-year-old man who had developed iatrogenic brachial AVF. He had a history of several venipunctures in the left arm at the age of 10 months. Doppler ultrasonography and computed tomographic angiography were used to establish a diagnosis of brachial AVF, and surgical correction of the AVF was performed. As our case indicates, delayed surgery can be considered as a treatment option and may be associated with a decreased risk of vascular complications in the management of iatrogenic brachial AVF in infants.
