We report a case of acute type I aortic dissection in which an emergency graft replacement of the ascending aorta and innominate artery was performed. We performed false lumen thrombosis through hybrid thoracic endovascular aortic repair to seal the primary entry tear, followed by false lumen obliteration at the level of the descending thoracic aorta, abdominal aorta, and right common iliac artery. Over a period of 4.5 years, we used Amplatzer vascular plugs and coils based on our computed tomography angiography follow-up protocol.

Abstract
Radiofrequency ablation is an effective treatment for atrial fibrillation. Pulmonary vein stenosis/occlusion is one of its rare complications. Patient-prosthesis mismatch (PPM) is a controversial issue in current clinical practice. Heart Transplantation in Patients with Superior Vena Cava to Pulmonary Artery Anastomosis: A Single-Institution Experience.
Conclusion: Transplantation can be successfully performed in patients with end-stage congenital heart disease after single ventricle palliation or 1½ ventricle repair. Leaving the BCS in place during HTx may simplify the operative procedure without causing significant adverse outcomes.

Thrombocytopenia in Moderate- to High-Risk Sutureless Aortic Valve Replacement.
Conclusion: There was no difference in the 30-day mortality of moderate- to high-risk patients depending on whether they underwent SU-AVR or AVR. Although SU-AVR is associated with favorable cardiopulmonary bypass and cross-clamp times, it may be associated with postoperative thrombocytopenia.

The Influence of Unfavorable Aortoiliac Anatomy on Short-Term Outcomes after Endovascular Aortic Repair.
Conclusion: Patients with unfavorable aortic anatomy showed relatively satisfactory short-term outcomes after EVAR. No difference in the surgical outcomes was observed in patients with a hostile neck. However, unfavorable iliac anatomy was found to inhibit the shrinkage of the aneurysmal sac.

The Clinical Implications of Death Domain-Associated Protein (DAXX) Expression.
Conclusion: This investigation found upregulation of DAXX in esophageal cancer, with a 71.7% expression rate. DAXX immunostaining could be used in clinical practice to predict aggressive tumors with lymph node metastasis in advanced-stage disease, especially in stages IIB and IV.

Surgical Options for Malignant Mesothelioma: A Single-Center Experience.
Conclusion: A fair 5-year survival rate of 21.3% was observed after surgical treatment. Heart failure was a major complication in our cohort. Various surgical methods can be utilized with MPM, each with its own benefits, taking into consideration the severity of the disease and the comorbidities of the patient. Patients with local recurrence may be candidates for surgical intervention, with possible satisfying results.

Surgical Reconstruction for High-Output Chylothorax Associated with Thrombo-Occlusion of Superior Vena Cava and Left Innominate vein in a Neonate.
We report a case of high-output chylothorax associated with thrombo-occlusion of the superior vena cava (SVC) and left innominate vein (LIV) following an arterial switch operation in a neonate. The chylothorax was resolved by 3 weeks after surgical reconstruction of the SVC and LIV using fresh autologous pericardium. We confirmed the patency of the SVC and LIV with a 1-year follow-up computed tomographic scan at our outpatient clinic.

Life-Threatening Acute on Chronic Pulmonary Thromboembolism Requiring Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation.

Right Main Bronchus Rupture Presenting with Pneumoperitoneum.
We report the case of a 16-year-old male patient who was involved in a traffic accident and transferred to the emergency department with mild chest pain. We initially did not find evidence of tracheal injury on computed tomography (CT). Erdheim-Chester Disease Presenting as an Anterior Mediastinal Tumor without Skeletal Involvement.
We report an unusual case of ECD presenting as an anterior mediastinal tumor without skeletal involvement. A 60-year-old man with no remarkable medical history was referred for evaluation of a mediastinal mass. The patient underwent surgical excision of the tumor via video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery. Histologic examination revealed marked proliferation of atypical histiocytes with sclerosis, and the results of immunohistochemical staining were suggestive of ECD.
