Endoscopic ultrasound ‐guided retrieval of a toothpick embedded in the stomach wall
We report the case of a 33‐year‐old male patient who presented with the complaint of progressive abdominal pain and history of ingestion of a toothpick. It was removed by endoscopic ultrasound‐guided localization‐assisted targeted endoscopic dissection. Endoscopic ultrasound‐guided localization reduced the length and depth of the required incision and helped to minimize the risk of damage to the surrounding tissue. © 2017 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Imaging sonographic findings of in a case of proliferating trichilemmal tumor of a finger: A case report
ABSTRACT Proliferating trichilemmal tumor (PTT) is a rare tumor that originates from the outer root sheath of a hair follicle. About 90% of PTTs occur on the scalp. The sonographic findings of PTT in the subungual region have not been reported previously. In our case, sonography showed a heterogeneous mass containing echogenic foci with no detectable intratumoral vascularity. These echogenic foci probably represent keratin and cholesterol. © 2017 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. J Clin Ultrasound, 2017 (Source: Journal of Clinical Ultrasound)

Echocardiographic features of right ventricular diverticulum: A case report
ABSTRACT Right ventricular diverticulum is a rare form of cardiac deformity, with a very few cases caused by pericarditis. A 60‐year‐old man sought medication because of chest congestion and shortness of breath. CT showed a soft tissue mass at the heart apex and pericardial calcification. Doppler echocardiography demonstrated a mixed cystic solid mass at the right ventricular apex. Surgical cure confirmed the diagnosis of right ventricular apex diverticulum with pericarditis. Echocardiography is contributive to the diagnosis of ventricular diverticula in measuring their size and showing the local thinning of the ventri...

The ultrasound appearance of an unusual fetal pericardial cyst
We describe the prenatal and postnatal sonographic findings and postnatal course in the first reported patient with a posterior mediastinal pericardial cyst. We then review and discuss current knowledge about the management of prenatally diagnosed cystic structures of the pericardium. © 2017 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
