Accuracy of fetal sex determination in the first trimester of pregnancy using 3D virtual reality ultrasound
ConclusionOur results indicate that accurate determination of the fetal sex in the first trimester of pregnancy is not possible, even using an advanced 3D US technique. (Source: Journal of Clinical Ultrasound)

Sonographic diagnosis of neuritis ossificans of the median nerve
We report the sonographic appearance of a rare case of neuritis ossificans of the median nerve at the wrist, which appeared as a hyperechoic lesion around the nerve. Diagnosis was confirmed with magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). (Source: Journal of Clinical Ultrasound)

Prenatal sonographic monitoring of progressive cardiac damages caused by anti ‐Ro antibodies: A case report
We describe the case of a fetus with anti‐Ro‐mediated second‐degree block at 19 weeks, which progressed to a complete block, fibroelastosis, atrioventricular valve insufficiency, and semilunar valve stenosis/insufficiency at 20, 22, 24, and 26 weeks, respectively, although the fetus received transplacental anti‐arrhythmic drugs. The 2150‐g fetus was vaginally delivered at 35 weeks. An external pacemaker was inserted immediately after birth and replaced with permanent pacemaker at the age of 3 months. The newborn has had a good outcome with well‐controlled heart rate. (Source: Journal of Clinical Ultrasound)

The importance of prenatal 3 ‐dimensional sonography in a case of a segmental overgrowth syndrome with unclear chromosomal microarray results
We present a case suspected of having a segmental overgrowth disorder based on 3‐D US, whose chromosomal microarray result was abnormal, but apparently was not the cause of the majority of the fetus's clinical features. (Source: Journal of Clinical Ultrasound)

The effect of unit, depth, and probe load on the reliability of muscle shear wave elastography: Variables affecting reliability of SWE
ConclusionsDifferent acquisition and technical factors may significantly affect the reliability of SWE in skeletal muscles. Readings acquired in the unit of shear wave velocity (m/s) from depths less than 4 cm using a minimal probe load without a standoff gel yielded the best reliability.
