Prediction of postural sway velocity by foot posture index, foot size and plantar pressure values in unilateral stance.
CONCLUSION: The predictive value of FTA integral and SFS parameters for postural sway velocity is lower in unilateral stance. The postural sway velocity is rather associated with FPI and increases by pronation of the foot.

Management of tumors and tumor-like lesions of the hand: a review of 191 patients.
CONCLUSION: The incidence of benign tumors of the hand is higher than malignant tumors. Since hand tumors may affect several parts of the body, diagnosis and treatment are best provided through a multidisciplinary approach.

[Measurement of screw length through drilling technique in osteosynthesis of the proximal humerus fractures].
CONCLUSION: Screw length measurement through the drilling technique significantly reduces the intraarticular screw penetration and fluoroscopy time in osteosynthesis of proximal humerus fractures using PHILOS plates.

[Determination of the effect on the proximal femoral load distribution of diaphyseal cement support in femoral intertrochanteric fractures with calcar defect by finite element analysis].
CONCLUSION: Our study results showed that forming a type of calcar to be used in a hemiarthroplasty surgery and shaping of this region with bone cement does not produce further stress on the cement/bone intersection in intertrochanteric fractures with defected calcar region.

Further development of our finite element pelvic model to compare fixation methods for pelvic fractures.

A comparison of proximal femoral locking plate versus 95-degree angled blade plate in the treatment of reverse intertrochanteric fractures.
CONCLUSION: Our study results show that these two fixation methods seem to produce similar results in the treatment of reverse intertrochanteric fractures with greater trochanteric comminution. However, we suggest that ABP still remains as a good choice with less expense in such fractures.

[Is non-vascularized autografting in the proximal scaphoid nonunions ineffective?].
CONCLUSION: We obtained no satisfactory results in patients treated with non-vascularized bone grafting and screw fixation for proximal scaphoid non-unions. We suggest that grafting should be carried out in selected cases due to the adverse effects of open techniques and bone grafting on vascularity of scaphoid bone.

[How safe are orthoroentgenograms in determining the amount of correction for varus deformities?].
CONCLUSION: Our study results showed that the mean values of mechanical axis angle, anatomical axis and the joint line orientation angle were higher in orthoroentgenograms with the feet in contact than the orthoroentgenograms with the legs abducted in patients with varus gonarthrosis. We suggest that this may lead to mistakes in the preoperative planning. Ideal positions should be standardized to minimize possible problems.

[How effective is in situ pinning with single screw fixation in mildly or moderately slipped capital femoral epiphysis?].
CONCLUSION: In this study, we obtained successful clinical and radiological results of fixation with in situ pinning in patients with chronic stable mildly or moderately slipped capital femoral epiphysis without reduction. There were no clinical signs related to arthrosis and impingement syndrome in mid-term follow-up.
