Rare case of Rosai Dorfman disease involving paranasal sinuses in paediatric patient: A case report
We report a paediatric case of RDD with initial isolated involvement of nasal cavity and PNS with subsequent involvement of cervical lymph nodes. Endoscopic biopsy confirmed the pathological diagnosis and he was managed successfully with medical therapy. At 20month follow up there was no evidence of recurrence. The ideal protocol for the treatment is still debated. A long term follow-up is warranted to detect relapses. This case report is illustrated aiming at developing insights into management and diagnosis of such rare clinical entity in a paediatric patient. Neck metastasis of a juvenile granulosa cell tumour. A case report and literature review
We report a case of a 19-year-old female who had a left supraclavicular mass with a previous history of a JGCT in 2010 and an abdominal recurrence in 2011 followed by radiotherapy and chemotherapy after surgery. JGCT generally affects young women, can be hormonally active, and has malignant potential. The diagnosis is made by histopathology after surgical removal, although it should be suspected when there is a large adnexal tumour along with hyperestrogenism signs. Regional lymph nodes metastases are rare let alone extra-abdominal ones. (Source: Egyptian Journal of Ear, Nose, Throat and Allied Sciences)

A rare cause of parotid abscess; Salmonella enterica subsp. arizonae
Conclusions There are only few cases reported in which S. enterica subsp. arizonae causes infection in the head and neck. It is difficult to expose the likely route of transmission. S. enterica subsp. arizonae should be included in the differential diagnosis of head and neck abscesses in patients who are immunocompromised.
