Ossifying pilomatrixoma with marrow formation of the left cheek region – Case report with review of literature
We present a rare case of ossifying pilomatrixoma in a 15year old female who presented with a painless hard slow growing swelling over the left cheek region. FNAC could not provide any clue whereas USG and CT scan showed the swelling to be in subcutaneous plane, superficial to the parotid gland. Complete excision of the mass along with the overlying adherent skin in toto with preservation of facial nerve was done. The diagnosis was confirmed after histopathological examination of the excised specimen which revealed pilomatrixoma with extensive ossification and marrow formation. Plasma level of transforming growth factor β 1 in children with autism spectrum disorder
Conclusion There may be an important role for the immune system in autism spectrum disorders that may have profound implications for diagnosis and treatment of this disorder. Psycholinguistic abilities in cochlear implant and hearing impaired children
Conclusion HI individuals have poor auditory short-term memory (A-STM) in comparison to normal hearing individuals. Also, HI individuals have visual short-term memory (V-STM) better than normal hearing individuals. The role of FDG PET in the diagnosis of occult primary with cervical lymph node metastases: A meta-analysis study
