Corrigendum
The authors of the November ‘In Practice’ article published in Perspectives in Public Health 2015; 135(6) would like to make clear that: The project took place in South East London rather than East London. Thamesmead is an area which straddles the boroughs of Greenwich and Bexley, not a borough itself. The Thamesmead Health Champions emerged from Royal Greenwich Public Health supported by local churches. Trust Thamesmead joined after the programme was established - their continuing support is fantastic. The authors apologise for these minor errors. (Source: Perspectives in Public Health)

Myopia and daylight in schools: a neglected aspect of public health?

The enigma of 'harmful alcohol consumption: evidence from a mixed methods study involving female drinkers in Scotland
Conclusion: For Scottish women, the current definition of ‘harmful’ consumption likely captures a fourfold variation in alcohol intake, with gender differences less apparent. While current alcohol-related harm is positively associated with dose and being younger, there is clear evidence of an influence of the less tangible ‘Glasgow effect’. Future harm concerns are warranted by data relating to pattern, alcohol dose and cigarette use. (Source: Perspectives in Public Health)

Beyond cigarette smoking: smoke-free home rules and use of alternative tobacco products
Conclusion: Smoke-free home rules are associated with lower current ATP use among the US population. Future research should examine whether promoting smoke-free home rules could help to reduce ATP use and related diseases. (Source: Perspectives in Public Health)
