Prevalence of depression and associated factors in women covered by Family Health Strategy
Conclusion The results of this study reveal a prevalence of depression of 19.7% in women aged 20 to 59 years covered by the Family Health Strategy, pointing to the need for special care in primary health care for women with low schooling, who work, have mental illness, and do not exercise so that they can reduce suffering and promote health. The consumption of alcoholic beverages and the binge drink among Medicine graduating in a Minas Gerais University
Conclusions This paperwork has shown that the alcohol consumption among Medicine students is bigger than among the general population and the binge drink practice has high prevalence on that group. Age, not living with the family and more advanced period of the course were associated with higher alcohol consumption. Evaluation of sleep pattern in insomnia in benzodiazepine users and analysis of trazodone as a substitute medication
Conclusion Prolonged release trazodone has been shown to be a therapeutic option for chronic insomnia patients with benzodiazepines with effective withdrawal of the anxiolytic drug. There was improvement in sleep quality by questionnaire and polysomnography. More patients will be needed to determine the benefits of trazodone in this type of intervention. Hyponatremia associated with antidepressants: a review
Conclusions Hyponatremia is a side effect to consider in patients taking antidepressants. When maintaining the treatment is needed, the same antidepressive or other of the same class, must be avoided.
