Employee health-relevant personality traits are associated with the psychosocial work environment and leadership.

Leptospira seropositivity as a risk factor for Mesoamerican Nephropathy.
CONCLUSIONS: Leptospira seroprevalence varied by job category. There was some indication that seropositivity was associated with elevated biomarker levels, but results were inconsistent. Additional studies may help establish whether Leptospira infection plays any role in MeN among Central American workers. Prevalence of occupational injury and its contributing factors among rubber tappers in Galle, Sri Lanka.
CONCLUSIONS: Work-related injuries are common among Sri Lankan rubber tappers. These results highlight the importance of working with and including informal workers in the creation of Sri Lankan occupational health and safety regulations. We believe that the three interventions identified by respondents could help to reduce the risk of occupational injury among rubber tappers. The quality of work life of registered nurses in Canada and the United States: a comprehensive literature review.

Negative work perception not changed in a short work-anxiety-coping group therapy intervention.
CONCLUSIONS: A short work anxiety-coping group did not initiate a consistent positive re-appraisal of work. Employers and occupational physicians should not expect positive changes of work perception when an employee returns from short medical rehabilitation including work-directed treatment. Additional support from the workplace must be considered, e.g. employer-physician-employee conversation preceding return to work, or (temporary) work adjustment.
