Conclusion Different echocardiographic abnormalities, especially LVH, are prevalent among CKD patients. Observation of renal function in patients with surgical jaundice

Oral paricalcitol for the treatment of secondary hyperparathyroidism in hemodialysis patients
Conclusion There is a substantial improvement in PTH levels by paricalcitol treatment in hemodialysis patients with secondary hyperparathyroidism, and paricalcitol is generally well tolerated. Renal outcome with eculizumab in two diarrhea-associated hemolytic–uremic syndrome cases with severe neurologic involvement
We report on two STEC-HUS children with severe neurologic involvement treated with eculizumab. Despite prompt resolution of initial neurologic findings upon treatment with eculizumab, proteinuria and hypertension persisted in these patients. Nutritional and taste characteristics of low-potassium lettuce developed for patients with chronic kidney diseases
This study compared the potassium content, other nutritional values, and taste characteristics of LK lettuce with those of normal lettuce. The amounts of potassium and other nutrients in LK lettuce, normal leaf lettuce, and normal leaf lettuce that had been soaked in water were measured and compared.
