Don't Believe Esther McVey's Bedroom Tax Lies - The Public Do Not Support This Policy
Reblogged from the void: Employment Minister Esther McVey's desperate attempt to mislead the public over the Bedroom Tax hit a new low this week with the woefully distorted reporting of a recent DWP survey. Yet this poll found that only 30% of people support the Bedroom Tax if it means someone might have to move to a different area - the inevitable consequence for many hit by the tax.  Read more… 753 more words Excerpt "The reality is that people dependen...

DWP calls in Rentadoc to harass the sick off-benefit
Reblogged from Vox Political: Perhaps we're jumping the gun with the headline but alarm bells tend to go off when you read that "people on sickness benefits will be required to have regular meetings with healthcare professionals to help them with their barriers to work". Reblogged from Mentally Wealthy: Now that the excitement of the TWIM Awards shortlisting is over (for now, come back on 21st December for the final results) it's time for me to pen a few thoughts on the use of social media in mental health. A lot of this is linked to my own personal journey in this area, both in terms of where I've come from and where I want to take things.
