Candidate Baseline of SNOMED CT and ICNP Cooperative Project, Feedback due by July 10, 2015
A Candidate Baseline of the International Classification for Nursing Practice (ICNP) and SNOMED CT Cooperative Project is now available. The release contains a bi-directional ICNP -- SNOMED CT nursing diagnoses (problems) equivalency table. This release should be evaluated in the context of the January 2015 SNOMED CT International Edition. Currently the Candidate Baseline is distributed for evaluation purposes only and should not be used in production clinical systems or in the clinical setting. The deadline for feedback is July 10, 2015 via the online feedback form. (Source: UMLS News)

Two updated SNOMED CT subsets available for download
TheRoute of Administration (ROA) subset of SNOMED CT is a list of terms related to the location of administration for clinical therapeutics. The purpose of the ROA subset is to define SNOMED CT concepts which can be used in the Drug Listing section of Structured Product Labeling (SPL), or for documentation and encoding of clinical information regarding substance administrations. SNOMED CT: New US Edition, March 2015 and CORE Problem Subset
NLM announces the release of the US Edition of SNOMED CT® (http://www.nlm.nih.gov/research/umls/Snomed/us_edition.html). In addition to 839 new concepts specific to the US, the March US Edition of SNOMED CT also contains all content from the January 2015 International Release of SNOMED CT. The January 2015 International Release of SNOMED CT is available for download. The RF1 and RF2 release files are now two separate download files. The SNOMED CT RF1 Compatibility Package tools are available for download from the same Web page. The SNOMED CT International Medical Devices release is now available for download. The SNOMED CT International Medical Devices Project aligns SNOMED CT content with the Global Medical Devices Nomenclature (GMDN). This download is an addendum and can be imported alongside the July 2014 SNOMED CT International Edition.
