November 2017 RxNorm Release Available for Download
The RxNorm November 2017 Release is now available for download. The November release is consistent with the 2017AB Unified Medical Language System (UMLS) Metathesaurus Release Files. A new Qualitative Distinction “Matrix Delivery” is included to help distinguish tramadol containing drugs that cannot be prescribed interchangeably with other tramadol drugs. (Source: UMLS News)

October 2017 RxNorm Release Available for Download
The October 2017 RxNorm Release is now available for download. Medi-Span data has been removed from RxNorm at Wolters Kluwer ’s request. RxNorm September 2017 Release Available for Download
The RxNorm September 2017 Release is now available for download. The September release includes a more comprehensive Medi-Span (MDDB) data set with over 144,000 National Drug Codes (NDCs), 38,000 Generic Product Identifiers (GPIs), 38,000 brand name drugs, and 5,000 ingredients from MDDB. In addition to 514 new concepts specific to the United States, the September 2017 SNOMED CT US Edition (linked) also contains all of the content from the July 2017 International Edition.
