Data Management for Librarians CE workshop
The University of Minnesota Health Sciences Libraries is hosting a 4-hour Data Management for Librarians CE workshop in Minneapolis, MN on August 6th. Registration for the workshop is free, and there are a select number of travel stipends available for up to $1,000.  The Workshop will introduce participants to key elements of research data management in the health sciences, including best practices for documentation, metadata, backup, storage, and preservation. Salt Lake County Library Is Providing Opioid-Overdose Reversal Drug Kits to Patrons in an Effort to Save Lives.
Salt Lake County Library is taking action in the opioid crisis by supplying Naloxone kits containing opioid-overdose reversal drugs to its patrons. Anyone can go to their local library in Salt Lake County to obtain a kit. No questions or personal information is required. HerbList: An Informative App to Better Understand Herbs and Herbal Products

HerbList is an innovative way to deliver information about herbal safety and effects to users. The information is supported by research-based data on herbs and herbal supplements. PainTracker: An Online Survey to Underline the Needs of Chronic Pain Patients.  
How do you treat a patient with complex chronic pain in a way that accounts for factors like genetics or their medical histories?
