Anti-Germ Warfare Posters from 1952
During the Korean War, Chinese newspapers reported that American forces were conducting germ warfare. A Patriotic Health Movement was launched in China, and the Communist Party mobilized people to eliminate pests to prevent disease and contribute to war effort. Health posters were created to support this anti-germ warfare campaign. Visit the Circulating Now blog to read more about this campaign, and see images of some of the health posters. /cm (Source: MCR News)
