A survey on the actuating force on brake and clutch pedal controls in agricultural tractor in use in Iran
Conclusions The U650 and JD3140 model tractors under ‘ready’ and ‘active’ conditions need less leg-pushing force. This force exertion from the knee occurs at the widest extension angle. These two models have higher ergonomic level with the least possible disturbance in the knee joint. (Source: Polish Annals of Medicine)

Risk related cardiovascular changes in metabolically healthy obese adolescents
Conclusions Prognostic capability of pediatric metabolic syndrome criteria is pretty low due to its sensitivity. Therefore obese adolescents not met diagnostic level for metabolic syndrome by IDF criteria could be falsely excluded from the cardiovascular risk group. Thus, it is not possible to assert an existence of absolutely healthy metabolic profile in obese and more sensitive markers are necessary for the metabolically healthy obesity identification. Finger flexor pulley injury of sport climbers – Literature review
Conclusions The main causes of pulley injury include the lack of proper warm-up before training, a lack of stretching and cool down the body's muscles after workout, too short time intervals between each workout and repetitive overuse. The diagnosis of pulley disruption is based on the injury history, clinical examination and visualization by ultrasound or a magnetic resonance imaging. Grade 1–3 pulley injuries can be managed conservatively, grade 4 injuries require a surgical repair. (Source: Polish Annals of Medicine)

Effect of preoperative flexion contracture in the knee joint on the accuracy of digital templating before knee replacement surgery
Conclusions Digital templating is very accurate method in predicting the size of knee implants. Flexion contracture in the knee joint that exceeds 10° diminishes the accuracy of digital templating of the femoral component in AP view. (Source: Polish Annals of Medicine)

Case of an isolated oculomotor nerve damage caused by pituitary hemorrhage without cavernous sinus invasion
Conclusions Pituitary apoplexy should be taken into consideration during a sudden isolated oculomotor nerve palsy. Immediate transsphenoidal pituitary decompression is a potentially effective method of the treatment. In the setting of a little expanding lesion an oculomotor nerve function may be restored without any surgical intervention. (Source: Polish Annals of Medicine)
