Hybrid breast reconstruction.
We present a new reconstructive system encompassing prostheses and fat grafting as integrated tools to improve the final reconstructive outcome. Fat grafting in our view is a pre-operatively planned part of the reconstruction. Safety and feasibility analysis of combination therapy of laparoscopic left hepatectomy and choledochoscopy for calculus of the left intrahepatic duct.
CONCLUSIONS: Combination therapy of laparoscopic left hepatectomy and choledochoscopy is worth being promoted in clinical practice of treatment for calculus of intrahepatic duct with various advantages, such as significant effect, small trauma, high safety and reliability, rapid recovery after operation and few recurrences.

The use of laparoscopy for locally advanced rectal cancer.
CONCLUSIONS: Locally advanced rectal cancers require multidisciplinary management including neoadjuvant chemo-radiotherapy and surgery. Preoperative re-staging may be useful to plan the best surgical procedure. Minimally invasive surgery, especially laparoscopy, can provide adequate outcomes in selected patients with locally advanced rectal cancer with the advantage of faster recovery compared to open surgery. However, the overall evidence is poor, and further studies are needed to elucidate the role of minimally invasive surgery for cT4 rectal cancer.

Intrathoracic stomach in hiatal hernia: the role of laparoscopic repair.
CONCLUSIONS: Laparoscopy plays a major role in the treatment of intrathoracic stomach and regarding most aspects of the treatment. All available techniques have their advantages and disadvantages, and the decision on how to repair the intrathoracic stomach, remains a tailored based decision.

Curative effect of knee arthroplasty on patients with osteoarthritis and analysis of long-term joint function of these patients.
CONCLUSION: Both the arthroscopy debridement and the knee replacement have good curative effect. The curative effect of knee replacement was better, postoperative knee joint activity was obviously improved, the long-term recovery of knee joint function was good, and knee replacement can reduce the pain of the patients.

Laparoscopic vs. open approach for pT3/pT4 colorectal cancer in the elderly. Ten-year experience in a single center.

Propensity score-matched comparison between complete mesocolic excision and classic right hemicolectomy for colon cancer. An Italian and Egyptian experience.
CONCLUSIONS: Right colon cancer patients undergoing CME benefitted from more oncological adequacy, with no increased postoperative complication rate, a decreased locoregional recurrence rate, and a better long-term outcome than patients operated on with the conventional procedure.
