The Therapeutic Role of Mental Health Nurses in Psychiatric Intensive Care: a mixed ‐methods investigation in an inner‐city mental health service
This study investigated the actual and potential therapeutic role of the mental health nurse in psychiatric intensive care, where admission is due to violence or aggression. Perceptions Of Learning Disability Nurses And Support Staff Towards People With A Diagnosis Of Schizophrenia
This study identifies the nature of LD practitioner perceptions about schizophrenia and contributes to the development of the recovery philosophy in relation to the management of LD and schizophrenia. The findings inform the design of training modules in bio‐psycho‐social models of schizophrenia, recovery approaches, family intervention, clinical supervision and reflection. Mediating effect of coping styles on the association between psychological capital and psychological distress among Chinese nurses: a cross ‐sectional study
This study confirmed the partial mediating effect of coping styles in PsyCap and psychological distress among Chinese nurses. In other words, this study found direct and indirect effects of PsyCap on psychological distress mediated via coping styles. What are the implications for practice? The significant mediating effect of negative and positive coping styles between PsyCap and psychological distress has implications for hospital administrators, especially nurse leaders. Feasibility of Training Nurses in Motivational Interviewing to Improve Patient Experience in Mental Health Inpatient Rehabilitation: A Pilot Study
This study showed that training rehabilitation nurses in MI was feasible and relevant to their work. Evaluation of a co ‐delivered training package for community mental health professionals on service user and carer involved care planning
This study has evaluated the acceptability of a new training programme on a key aspect of mental health clinical practice, based on a co‐production model.
